Endeavour Business Park
Media Release 13th July 2005
Ulysses on voyage to Endeavour Business Park
Contracts have just been completed on the first of the
office units at the Endeavour Business Park in Penner
Road, Havant.
Ulysses 2000, a leading supplier of risk management
software to the healthcare market, has acquired the freehold
on a 2,073 sq ft office unit at the business park, developed
by the Winchester-based Durngate Property Group.
Phase one of the business park, comprising office and
light industrial units, was launched in May and is of
only a handful of smaller freehold developments in the
entire region. It was chosen as the new base for Ulysses
2000 as it offered the company an ideal location to expand
and to provide facilities for its in-house training and
conferences.
Ulysses 2000 director, Jenny Pearce,
explained: “Because
of the nature of our business, much of our work takes
place on the customer’s site. The location of the
Endeavour Business Park gives good access to both the
south east and the south west, with links to the motorways
going north. It is also within easy reach of Havant Railway
Station.
“It will be an excellent office environment for
our staff and a first class venue to welcome customers.
It will also serve as an investment for the company to
ensure financial stability for the future to the benefit
of customers and staff,” added Jenny.
Already three of the warehouse units at the business
park have been sold with one under offer and just one
still available.
Ross Moyler, associate partner
at agents Vail Williams, said: “Having worked
with Ulysses to find them a new location, the Endeavour
Business Park ticked all the boxes for its requirements
as an expanding company looking to invest in commercial
property as security for the future.
Nic Evans of the Durngate Property
Group said: “Freehold
units are in short supply and great demand. Business
people are now turning to the mainstay of commercial
property to shore up their plans for retirement. This
business park comprising freehold development offers
local businesses a chance to own their premise and have
the benefit of a capital asset at the end of the day.”
